At the invitation of the Academy Sankelmark in Schleswig-Holstein, Professor Elżbieta Kal from Pomeranian University in Słupsk participated in the international seminar titled "Erbe ohne Erben?" (“Heritage without Heirs?”), organised at the premises of Academia Baltica in Oeversee near Flensburg, and taking place between 24 and 26 June 2024.
On 14 May 2024, Pomeranian University in Słupsk hosted a prominent guest - a traveler and the Ascensionist of the Seven Summits, Ms Miłka Raulin.
The Rector, Professor Zbigniew Osadowski, signed a cooperation agreement between Pomeranian University in Słupsk and the State Agrarian Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Chlibodarske, Odessa Oblast).
On 25 April 2024, Pomeranian University in Słupsk organised the Innovation Day, an event whose aim was to showcase the latest innovative R&D solutions, products, and job offers of local enterprises. The event was addressed to secondary and university students from Słupsk and the region.
On 19 June 19 2024, our University hosted the 6th International Scientific Seminar titled "Reading Abai: History and Perspectives of Kazakh Culture in the Eurasian Space". The event was organised by the Abai Kazakh Culture and Science Center at the Department of Modern Languages of Pomeranian University in Słupsk. The Seminar was held in a hybrid format and was organised on the occasion of the 5th Anniversary of the establishment of the Abai Kazakh Culture and Science Center in Słupsk.
From 3 to 8 June 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting an international delegation from Jiyu Gakuen College in Tokyo. Professor Akitsugu Sakihana and eight students from Japan had the opportunity to get to know our University, the Polish culture, as well as the city and the Pomeranian region better.
