WHAT?
Q: What can I study at Pomeranian University in Słupsk?

A: Pomeranian University in Słupsk offers a wide range of accommodation options in its student dormitories.
Q: What is the assessment scale used?
A: The following assessment scale is used in our University: 5.0, 4.5, 4.0, 3.5, 3.0, 2.0, where 5.0 is the highest grade, and 2.0 is a fail.
Q: What happens if I fail to get the end-of-term credit or fail an exam?
A: In such a situation the student has the right to re-take the end-of-term credit or an exam. (Study regulations)

Q: Where can I apply for studies?
A: The application process is an online one, however, you have to hand in some documents upon arrival in Poland (more information)
Q: Where is my institute/ department?
A: It will definitely be in one of the three campuses of the University, each within a 20-25-minute walking distance from another. Please follow this link to learn more about the contact details of the individual University units.
Q: Where is the library?
A: The main University Library is situated at Arciszewskiego campus.
Q: Where are the dormitories?
A: All dormitories are situated at Arciszewskiego Campus.
WHEN?
Q: When does the academic year start?
A: The academic year starts on 1 October and ends on 30 September.
Q: When do the holidays start?
A: The dates of the semesters, breaks, holidays, etc. are included in the academic calendar (more information)
Q: When do I re-take my exams?
A: The winter re-take exam session starts after the regular winter exam period (usually in mid-February), while the summer re-take exam session is held in September.
Q: When does the admission process start?
A: This year, the enrollment process starts on 21 June 2024. Follow this link to learn more about the admission rules.
HOW?
Q: How to apply?
A: Candidates for studies are obliged to register on the website by entering your personal data, choosing a year and a field of studies.
Q: How do I get my Student ID card?
A: Go to the admissions website , follow the tab “płatności” (payments).
- Download a blank document “Legitymacja” and print it out.
- You can pay for your student ID card either at the post office or at a bank. The cost is 22 PLN
- Obtain a PESEL Number in the local City Council (Urząd Miasta).
- Bring the proof of payment of your Student ID card and your PESEL Number to the Student Service Office (BOSiD).
Q: How far are the campuses of the University?
A: There are three campuses at the University: Arciszewskiego Campus - Address: Arciszewskiego 22, Słupsk, Westerplatte-Kozietulskiego Campus - Address: Westerplatte 64 & Kozietulskiego 6-7, Słupsk, Partyzantów-Słowiańska Campus - Address: Partyzantów 27 & Słowiańska 8, Słupsk. Each of them is within a 20-25-minute walking distance from another.
Q: How big are the rooms in the dormitories?
A: There are single, two-, three- and four-person rooms. There are also improved-standard rooms and rooms adapted to the needs of students with disabilities. All dormitories are situated at Arciszewskiego Campus.

Q: Who can I ask for help at the University?
A: There is a special office which deals with student matters - the Office for Students’ and PhD Students’ Affairs (BOSiD). The office will help you with any matters related to your studies.

Q: Do I have to pay for the studies?
