The light was received by the Vice-Rector for Development and Cooperation, professor Marek Łukasik. On behalf of the entire academic community, the Vice-Rector expressed gratitude for the Bethlehem Light, which serves as a reminder of the universal values that are so important to us all: hope, unity, and mutual respect.
Scouts are distributing the light across Poland to numerous institutions. The tradition of passing on this eternal flame has accompanied the world for over thirty years.
