Official visit to Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas

On 7 July 2022, Rector of Pomeranian University in Słupsk, professor Zbigniew Osadowski and Rector of Vytautas Magnus University, professor Juozas Augutis, signed a cooperation agreement in the area of joint research and education. The agreement also initiates cultural exchange, including the promotion of Polish culture in the neighboring country. 

During the visit, the Polish delegation drafted the possible directions of future project development and discussed various aspects of support regarding joint research with mutual  Ukrainian partners. The stay in Kaunas provided a good opportunity to get acquainted with  the academic infrastructure of Vytautas Magnus University, including the Center for Research and Science and Valdas Adamkus Presidential Library. 

Our delegation included, among others, Vice-Rector for Development and Cooperation professor Marek Łukasik, and professor doctor honoris causa Dariusz Szpoper, Head of the Institute of Law and Administration.  The Lithuanian delegation also included professor Rūta Eidukevičienė, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities.
