Nuclear Inter Jura 2024 Congress
November 2024 has proven a very active month as regards our international collaboration. Another important event took place between 3 and 7 November 2024 in Warsaw. Bringing together over 370 leading experts and specialists in nuclear energy law and nuclear safety from around the world, The Nuclear Inter Jura 2024 Congress was an extremely important event in light of the construction of first nuclear power plants in Poland.
The prestigious event was coordinated by dr Łukasz Młynarkiewicz, PhD, the President of the International Nuclear Law Association and a faculty member at the Institute of Law and Administration of Pomeranian University in Słupsk. His dedication ensured the Congress was organised at the highest level.
On 6 November 2023r, during the congress, the President of the National Atomic Energy Agency, Andrzej Głowacki, and the Vice-Rector for Research at Pomeranian University in Słupsk, professor Piotr Frąckiewicz, acting on behalf of the Rector, signed a cooperation agreement. The goal of this collaboration is to develop educational study programmes in the area of nuclear safety and radiological protection, as well as to train highly qualified personnel prepared to work with new nuclear technologies being implemented in Poland.
This is a key step towards providing Poland with specialised education and personnel to support the future of its nuclear energy sector.
