Construction Works continue at the Research and Training Station in Grzmiąca
On 30 July 2024, the municipality of Grzmiąca held a meeting whose purpose was to present the progress of construction work at our University’s Research and Training Station in Grzmiąca and a project titled “Implementing Intelligent Technologies in Agriculture and Environmental Protection – Internet of Things in Rural Areas”.
An additional objective of the meeting was to update the strategic partnership regarding the implementation of joint projects aimed at broadly defined rural development based on modern technologies. The meeting was attended by the Rector of Pomeranian University in Słupsk, professor Zbigniew Osadowski, the Mayor of Grzmiąca, Patryk Makowski, the Deputy Mayor of Grzmiąca, Aleksandra Lachowska, the Director of Secondary School No. 6 Joanna Buzała, M.A.,. the Head of the Logistics and Innovation Department at the Institute of Management, Pomeranian University in Słupsk, professor Piotr Niedzielski, and the assistant in the Logistics and Innovation Department at the Institute of Management, Pomeranian University in Słupsk, Grzegorz Chrząstek, MSc Eng.
The meeting concluded with a fruitful discussion on further actions and collaboration opportunities in implementing innovative technological solutions that will contribute to the development of the local community and the protection of the natural environment.
