A trip to Gdańsk as part of the "Welcome to Poland" Programme
This week, as part of the programme “Welcome to Poland”, realised by our University, our international students took part in a trip to Gdańsk.
During the trip, we had the opportunity to get to know even better our students from Erasmus+ Programme, Double Diploma and Semester Exchange Programme. We also visited a number of interesting places.
We started by visiting the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk, which has one of the largest exhibition spaces in Europe, and is furnished with many artifacts on show. It also illustrates, with the use of modern technology, the history of the civilian population who lived through the Second World War, as well as the uniqueness of the Polish experience compared to other nations.
In the second part of the tour the participants of the project had the chance to explore the beautiful old town of Gdańsk. We took a long walk in downtown Gdańsk and experienced the architectural marvels of the city.
It was a great opportunity to exchange experiences and intercultural traditions of countries such as: Italy, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Ukraine, Belarus, Slovenia,Chad,Romania, Moldova and Poland.
We are looking forward to the next events!
