The meeting is attended by ministers responsible for higher education and healthcare, as well as rectors of the leading universities from both countries.
Pomeranian University in Słupsk is represented by His Magnificence Rector, Professor Zbigniew Osadowski, and the Vice-Rector for Development and Cooperation, Professor Marek Łukasik.

The forum provides a platform for building relationships and partnerships between the academic communities of Poland and Uzbekistan, initiating joint research projects in the fields of social sciences, technology, medicine, and the digital economy, as well as fostering the internationalization of higher education.

The program includes ministerial sessions, expert panels, and bilateral meetings. During these meetings, the Rector of Pomeranian University in Słupsk signed eight agreements concerning joint initiatives as part of further cooperation.

This year’s edition is taking place in a unique international context. Samarkand, as a historic city of the Silk Road, is once again becoming a hub for building new axes of cooperation between Europe and Central Asia, also in the field of science and higher education.

The event is organized by the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland and the Perspektywy Educational Foundation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan.
