Visit of the Rector to Kherson State University (Ukraine)
Within the framework of the "Active University" project, our Rector, professor Zbigniew Osadowski, visited Kherson State University in Ukraine, and held numerous meetings to popularize Polish science, culture and language.
The Rector met with the students and the authorities of the partner University. At the meetings, professor Zbigniew Osadowski presented the advantages of studying in Poland, listed the achievements of Polish science, and also emphasized the importance of Polish-Ukrainian cooperation, which is a significant element in shaping the international development of science.
During the meetings with the University community, the Rector detailed the requirements for foreign students applying for courses at Pomeranian University, and discussed the restrictions related to the pandemic. The Rector encouraged vaccinations as a way of returning to full-time education.
During the visit, the Rector, professor Zbigniew Osadowski, received from the Chairman of the Kherson Regional Council, Oleksandr Samoilenko, a diploma for significant contribution to the development of educational and scientific cooperation between Ukraine and Poland, and the implementation of partnership projects of Pomeranian University in Słupsk and Kherson State University.
