The Innovation Day proved a great success!
On 25 April 2024, Pomeranian University in Słupsk organised the Innovation Day, an event whose aim was to showcase the latest innovative R&D solutions, products, and job offers of local enterprises. The event was addressed to secondary and university students from Słupsk and the region.
The event was attended by over 100 students from Pomeranian University in Słupsk, and more than 250 students from secondary schools from Słupsk and the region. The event attracted significant media attention. Rector, Professor Zbigniew Osadowski opened the event.
We also showcased its own projects carried out in cooperation with local partners. To this end, we presented the following projects: the Innovation Incubator 4.0, 3LoE, eCUDO, Herbarium Pomeranicum. We also promoted our latest innovative study programmes: a dual study programme - Logistics: Green Supply Chains; Renewable Energy Sources; the Internet of Things (IoT), and many others.
Among the companies and socio-economic partners participating in the event were Aerosol Service, Markos, Kaliop Poland, MOWI, SIPH Słupsk Chamber of Commerce, Pomeranian Regional Development Agency S.A., Carl Zeiss IQS Software R&D Centre Sp. z o.o., Witkac Software, Stako Sp. z o.o., Seargin, the Voivodeship Labor Office in Gdańsk, and the Office for Electronic Communication.
Students from the Scientific research Club of the Institute of Management at Pomeranian University in Słupsk prepared competitions, which were carried out during the event. The prizes in the competitions were funded by the participating companies. There was also time for networking and discussions on the strengthening of partnership relations.
Pomeranian University in Słupsk has become a hub that connects the world of science, business, innovation, and young talent. Because together we can achieve more.
