Prestigious lectures at Pomeranian University

Pomeranian University in Słupsk has inaugurated a series of lectures delivered by world-class experts. The events are carried out within the "A+ Lectures” Programme, which is one of the tasks of the "Active University" (Aktywna Akademia) project. The lectures are open to everyone, and aim at strengthening international cooperation of our University.

The first online meeting took place on 8 April 2021, with a lecture given by professor Serhii Plokhy of Harvard University. The talk titled “ Chernobyl: Revisiting the World’s Worst Nuclear Disaster 35 Years Later” was attended by numerous students, academic staff and members of the general public. The lecture received very favourable comments.
