Delegation of Pomeranian University in Słupsk in France
The “Forum on Vocational Excellence” was organised for the third time. The aim of the event was to promote and exchange experiences in vocational and practical education in Europe and around the world. It also served as an excellent platform for establishing international contacts, particularly concerning new partnerships in international projects. This year, the forum hosted over 500 participants, representing educational institutions and organizations involved in vocational and specialized education.
The "WorldSkills" event was the 47th edition of the competition for young professionals from over 70 countries worldwide, who competed in 62 different skills across various sectors such as architecture, construction, engineering, information technology, floristry, aviation, mechanics, automotive, robotics, electricity, and electronics. The competition aimed to promote excellence in vocational skills and highlighted the importance of technical education. The event also featured industrial exhibitions and a conference dedicated to the future of vocational education.
Several thousand participants took part in the competitions, and the entire event was expected to attract tens of thousands of high school students.
Participation in both events was made possible thanks to the fruitful international collaboration of Pomeranian University in Słupsk within the 3LoE project, under which our University established a Polish Center of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) and implemented, among other initiatives, dual studies in Logistics - green supply chains.
